Regionals 2026

On April 18th, McMaster ChemE Car competed in the ChemE Car Regionals Competition at the 2026 Eckhardt Northeast Student Regional Conference hosted by the Rochester Institute of Technology. We took home 4th place in the car competition and 2nd place in the poster presentation. This year's theme was "MAC to the Future" and our car was modelled after the DeLorean from the Back to the Future movies.

Outreach with Girls in STEM

Over the course of this academic year, our team has been participating in outreach events geared towards girls in stem.

In November, we gave a presentation at a Go Eng Girl event with Eng Outreach. We explained and gave a demo of last year's winning car!

In January we welcomed the Girl Guides and in February we hosted girls from the Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS)! We helped them build their own ChemE Cars!
