2021/2022 Chem-E-Car Competition
McMaster Chem-E Car team had the opportunity to compete in the AIChE Chem-E Car Competition hosted at the University of Akron. Our team placed 3rd in the Chem-E-Car Poster Competition! The team worked hard and put countless hours to design and create “BigMac’22.” Thank you everyone for all the support throughout this year! Special thanks to Tim Stephens, Paul Gatt, Michael Clarke, Doug Keller, Dr. Prashant Mhaskar and Dr. Vincent Leung for the continuous encouragement and assistance. We really appreciate the feedback and comments that were given to us!

Alumni Night
McMaster Chem-E Car team hosted our very first alumni night with past Chem-E Car members who graduated in 2011-2021! We would like to thank the Alumni Engineers (Rohan N. Pukadyil, Jervis Pereira, Samuel Vandaiyar, Cherie Singhal, Daniel D'souza, Areeb Sufi, Jordan Sullivan, Suban S., Evan Stevens) that were able to make it to our event! Our team really enjoyed the experiences shared and all the advice given to us. Thank you once again, and we really hope to see you all soon!

2021/2022 Reboot of Chem-E-Car!
Chem-E-Car is an annual university competition for undergraduate students in Engineering. In this competition, students must design a small-scale automobiles that operate by chemical means, along with a poster describing their research. During the competition, they must drive their car a fixed distance in order to demonstrate its capabilities. In addition to driving a specified distance, they must also hold a payload of 0 - 500 mL of water. The exact distance (15 m -30 m) and payload is given one hour before the competition. This competition is hosted in the USA by AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers). More information about the competition can be found here!
